I love football. I am one of those unique women that lives for football and follows football year round. So, naturally I bought The Blind Side the day it was released on DVD. I absolutely love this movie. Not just because it deals with football, but the whole story. The basic plot is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family (the Tuohy’s). It stars Sandra Bullock as Leigh Anne Tuohy, Tim McGraw as Sam Tuohy and Quinton Aaron as Michael Oher. I give this movie an A+!

My fave Sandra Bullock movie so far is Crash. It was a big cast, but she stood out for me because her performance was so heartfelt.

I came across your blog and couldn’t resist leaving a comment. Your blog is very entertaining and I like the fact that you include so many pictures. Your children are adorable! I just recently created a page on Blogger and am always looking for ways to improve its appearance.
The Blind Side is a touching movie because of the hardships the main character, Micheal, has to go through. He would not be able to succeed in his football career without the help of the stranger he meets, Leigh Anne. The movie deals with the issue of racism when Leigh Anne allows homeless, Micheal, to move-in to her home, and her friends question her safety because of their stereotyping of African Americans. She makes it known that she does not share the same stereotypes. That is truly inspirational.
I think I’m going to add a “What I Learned This Week” section to my blog after reading yours. It’s good to reflect on your behaviour and think about what you would like to change if the same situations come up again in the future.
